THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a global provider of continuing and higher education, operating in multiple international markets and teaching hundreds of thousands of students each year. As part of its continuing expansion plans the organisation is developing and relaunching its professional education proposition. Founded by a diverse assembly of industry leaders with a current portfolio of over 40 programmes it provides access to industry-focused courses that deliver real world skills to inspire and enhance the careers of ambitious professionals.
The relaunched Institute will be highly connected to the vital academic and programme development resources of its parent company but with its own standalone, entrepreneurial culture that will be an important contributor to successful growth. We are seeking an ambitious, driven commercial manager to lead and guide the next phase of the Institutes evolution.
THE ROLE
The role requires commercial leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the proposition meets the needs of the target audience and aligns with the overall goals of the organisation.
THE PERSON
You will be able to demonstrate a track record of commercial innovation. Ideally you will also have insight into the professional education marketplace. You will have a strong understanding of the Sales & Marketing approach required to acquire, onboard and retain Professional Students. You will also have experience of an understanding of the operational requirements to manage the end-to-end student experience: recruitment, admissions, onboarding, delivery, assessment and certification. A relevant 3rd level qualification is required (minimum Level 8), with an additional business management qualification preferred.
