THE ROLE

Reporting to the CEO, the focus of this role is to develop a comprehensive member experience that delivers value for members and increases engagement, retention and revenue for re-investment. This newly created position provides an opportunity to make a key contribution to the future growth of IoD Ireland.  The successful candidate will develop a strategy to deliver a distinctive member experience that creates a sense of valued belonging, connection and collegiality. The Board & Member Services Director will drive the commercial performance of all aspects of the membership model and will take a strategic leadership role regarding the digital transformation of the member experience.


THE PERSON

This position requires an experienced commercial leader with a significant track record of achievement within a services-based environment, working with C-level and Board-level stakeholders. A change agent, with a digital first mindset, the appointed person will demonstrate significant abilities in bringing innovation and improvements to a business with discernible results. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Irish business landscape, including the key trends and factors influencing Directors and Leaders in Ireland. Exceptional stakeholder management and analytical abilities are essential, in addition to exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
